GripAble to sponsor the RCOT virtual Annual Conference, 2021
The Annual Conference is RCOT’s flagship event and a showcase for occupational therapy, bringing together its members and non-members from across the profession.
This year’s two-day virtual programme includes over 80 interactive sessions, including informative discussions, skills exchanges and demonstrations for attendees to discover the latest best practice and innovations and hear from thought leaders in occupational therapy.
As a platinum sponsor, we will be attending the conference throughout and hosting a virtual booth for attendees to see GripAble in action and chat live to our clinical and customer care specialists.
The Annual Conference takes place on 30th June and 1st July.
On 1 July at 9:45am, GripAble’s clinical director Nicola Goldsmith will be delivering a session on ‘Using gamification in daily training to increase engagement’.
In this session, attendees will:
* Understand how gamification can help to create purposeful activity that builds engagement.
* Learn how to monitor and track engagement in training, both face to face and remotely
* Learn how to use GripAble to improve engagement with daily training
Free GripAble trial for therapists
GripAble is a smart, two-in-one mobile assessment and training device that connects to an app, with fun and engaging activities that train core hand and wrist movements. GripAble enables therapists to objectively measure each individual’s grip strength, release and movements of the wrist and forearm.
The device is sensitive to grip strengths from 0.1kg and measures in 0.1kg increments, ensuring even the smallest amount of progress is detected. Users receive real-time feedback and therapists can track, monitor and report on all training.
